Signing in

Sign in with your organisation, email and password.

Signing in takes two short steps: tell Platinum Strand who you are, then type your password. If you're already signed in, use this to talk a colleague through it.

  1. Enter your organisation and email

Go to your Platinum Strand web address. On the Sign in card, fill in:

    • AOrganisation — the name of your own firm, spelled exactly as it appears in your welcome email.
    • BEmail — the address you were added with.

    Click Continue C.

Step one of the Sign in card
  2. Type your password

The card now shows your organisation and email at the top. Type your Password D and click Sign in E.

Typed the wrong organisation or email? Click Use a different organisation to start again.

    Step two: your password
  3. You're in

You land on your Dashboard. Your name and organisation show at the bottom of the left-hand menu, beside Settings and Sign out.

💡 Tips

Not sure what to type as Organisation? It's shown in the email you got when your account was made (“Your Platinum Strand account for …”). Type it exactly as shown there, with no extra spaces.

On a shared computer, always click Sign out when you've finished.

⚠️ If it goes wrong

“We couldn't sign you in with those details. Please check and try again.” For security, the message is the same whether the organisation, email or password is wrong, so check all three. The most common slip is typing the name of the firm you're working for instead of your own.

Forgotten your password? Click Forgot password? under the card — see Resetting a forgotten password.

“Too many sign-in attempts”? Wait as long as the page says (about a minute), then try again. The limit is shared by everyone on your office network, so colleagues signing in at once can trigger it.

“Your session has ended. Please sign in again.” You were signed out — sign in again. If it keeps happening, ask whoever set up your account.
